Shawn Olsen, Founder & Owner
Shawn Olsen brings nearly two decades of roofing and restoration industry experience to SMO. Beginning his career in 2006 as a residential roofing salesperson in Madison, Wisconsin, Shawn quickly distinguished himself through his work ethic, leadership, and commitment to delivering exceptional results. His success led to expanded responsibilities in sales and project management with a national roofing company, where he managed projects across a diverse range of residential, commercial, and multifamily properties.
Over the course of his career, Shawn has built a reputation for providing clients with honest guidance, dependable service, and high-quality workmanship. After more than 15 years of leading successful projects and developing lasting client relationships, he founded SMO in 2022 with a vision of creating a company rooted in integrity, professionalism, and customer-first service.
As Founder and Owner, Shawn oversees the strategic direction of the company while remaining actively involved in operations, project planning, and client relationships. His dedication to excellence and passion for helping property owners protect and enhance their investments continue to drive SMO's growth and success.
Outside of work, Shawn enjoys spending time with his four children, camping, and making the most of Wisconsin's outdoors.
Paul Meacham, Managing Partner
Paul Meacham brings nearly two decades of experience in the roofing and exterior restoration industry. Since beginning his career in 2008, he has built a reputation for delivering exceptional project outcomes, developing strong client relationships, and leading high-performing teams.
As Managing Partner at SMO, Paul oversees operations, project execution, and strategic growth initiatives. His extensive expertise spans roof inspections, insurance claim coordination, commercial roofing systems, and large-scale restoration projects. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed and overseen the installation and restoration of millions of square feet of commercial and multifamily roofing systems, consistently delivering projects on time, within budget, and with an unwavering commitment to safety and quality.
Paul works closely with property owners, insurance carriers, consultants, and engineers to help navigate the claims and restoration process, ensuring transparent communication and successful outcomes for all stakeholders. His hands-on leadership style, industry knowledge, and dedication to customer service have made him a trusted partner for clients across a wide range of projects.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his family and tending to his garden.
